Kindergarten Here I Come!

This post is sponsored by the number 200. Why you ask, well because it is post #200!!! Which seems quite appropriate since this 200th post is about Hayden going to kindergarten. I started doing this blog FIVE years ago, when Hayden was just a wee little baby.
Hayden about 5 or 6 weeks old - FIVE YEARS AGO!!
Now look how far we have come! She's in KINDERGARTEN. She's a KID - not an infant, not a baby, not a toddler, not even a preschooler. A SCHOOL-AGE KID! Wow. How time flies. Her first morning went off without a hitch. She was super nervous and scared but drop off went totally fine. I can't wait to hear how her first day was!
Kindergarten here I come!

And what have we been doing with Hayden away at school? Well, I finally (I say finally because the paints were Eliza's birthday present LAST year) got out the paints to use on the easel for Eliza. We made cookies to have for afternoon snack. Molly managed a short nap and then continued her usual explorations, with a stop at her favorite shoe boutique!

Hope you are having a good Thursday as well!

Both of us putting on a brave face. :)

**************************update!******************
Kindergarten went GREAT! She met me after school with a big hug and a smile on her face. She told me that she liked going to her special (music) and that she made a new friend. She even agreed to go back again tomorrow. (and she even whispered to Jason that "kindergarten rocks!", which is just like the book we read.) Yay!
the proud kindergartner!

Did Hayden have trouble putting on a brave face with those two teeth missing??? Five years old and starting kindergarten - amazing! Quite the young lady.
