Easter, Eggs, and More

While in Tville, we celebrated Easter. By celebrated, I mean we decorated eggs, dressed up in fancy dresses and had a MASSIVE egg hunt. 189 eggs (or thereabouts) were hidden and found. Hayden was probably the only competitive egg seeker, but everyone had fun. I watched Charlotte spot an egg and then walk PAST it, in order to pick up a different one! Enjoy the pics!

maybe this is why all her teeth fell out over the next month!
Happy Easter everyone!
Let's do it again next year!

Tville Trek

The lateness of this blog entry in no way reflects the level of fun we had on our trip. We had a blast going down to Thomasville for spring break. The kids loved playing with their cousins, the weather was lovely and everyone did a great job with all the driving. It's just taken me a while to get the blog together. I tried to take lots of pictures of cousins and all the fun, so I'll just let the pictures capture the craziness that was our spring break trip to Tville. I'm not sure Cancun can offer any more fun than we had! (also, note that spring break did include Easter. Most Easter pictures will be included in the next entry so as to avoid complete picture overload.)

dress up was very popular - here you see a sampling of the various outfits

iron man takes on buzz light year - in the next minute, buzz cries because iron man is being too fierce

line up at the door to go walk to the park. line up was VERY important in corralling the passel of cousins.

one of our favorite activities? going to get donuts! YUM times a million!

E and C work on a big one. (just kidding, the elephant ear is for the grownups!)

M enjoys a donut hole thanks to Uncle T

Brad, Sarah, Logan and Kaylee came to play and brought a very popular bubble machine

the gator continued it's popularity. Jay was very serious while driving his youngest cousin.

He also checked in to make sure she was enjoying the ride!

Last Day

It's hard to believe but it's already Eliza's last day of school for the year. She got to have ice cream and hot dogs to celebrate the end of the year and all the summer birthdays. Very exciting! She even selected the same outfit to wear for her last day as she wore the first day. I don't really know if she did that on purpose, but she has never really worn it since the first day of school, she picked it out today with no help from us and then she said "I know" when I reminded her it was the same outfit from the first day. Don't underestimate her! After all, according to her 'Interview with Eliza' in the scrapbook she brought home from school, she is going to be an "astronaut and scientist" when she grows up! Yay!

I managed to make her take (yes, make is the appropriate word choice) some pictures to commemorate the day as we were headed upstairs for nap. Eliza may have been reluctant, but Molly was happy to oblige.

please, please take a picture, please stand up....

M: I'm here mom! Take my picture!

Two Happy (finally) Girls!

Molly shows her belly button.

Goofing off on the stairs before heading up for nap. Whatever E does, M does too.
Look how far she's come! (this is from September)

Two and half weeks more for Hayden. Is summer really just around the corner?!!
